Our girls, our pets, our friends

Below we have all of our girls. This includes all of our females, not just ones involved in our breeding program, but also our babies that we have chosen to keep and may go into the breeding program, rescues that we were unable to find homes for in the alloted time so we have adopted, our retired breeders and those that are unsuitable to breed, but we love them anyways. Although the purpose of a rattery is to breed, whether for the betterment of the species,  or for money (our is the former) we do find that once we have fallen in love with a ratty, we have made a commitment to them. Once we rescue them, we made a commitment to them, even if we are unable to find them homes of their own, we made the commitment to give them a home, so they will only be available for a certain amount of time, depending on the age and health of the rat, and then will be placed permanently with a foster, either myself, or one of the other fosters that work in the network. That is who you will meet here on this page and on our boys page. None of the rats on these pages are available for adoption.

Taffy

Showing some ratty love, my cousin Jenny. Taffy is one of my favorites. I'll admit, I do have favorites. Being an Alpha female, she
is the Queen of the female cage and she makes sure everyone knows it. She does get a bit tempermental when pregnant and while
she has babies, so when she is with litter or nursing, we keep her away from men. She has no issues with women, but is more than
willing to nip at men, hard enough to break skin. She is very protective of her babies, but has no issues with women, as she knows
she has nothing to fear from us with her babies. This was taken before her second breeding.

Fawna

Although I had not intended on keeping Fawna, initially, I fell in love with her. I have decided to work on a specialty
with my rattery, which will be Solids and Berkshires, Dumbos. So I am mating Fawna with Tanner, who is a tan
dumbo with an awesome, very passive personality.
