All Meds come with a flat shipping rat of $5.50. No matter how much you order. I will be setting up a cart for meds. For other items, I will put the accurate shipping rate with them.    

All meds come with a dosage sheet. This tells you how to store the meds, how to mix it and how to dose it. I do offer discounts on bulk orders.

The safest antibiotic you can use with your rats is amoxicillin. Coincidentally, it is also the cheapest. So I will ask that you purchase more than a single dose, just so that you have extra on hand if needed. All meds come with  a single syringe, you can add more, if needed. Amoxicillin is good for respiratory issues, for abscesses, and for preventing infections in injuries, such as scratches or bites. It is safe for pregnant, nursing and baby rats. It will not stunt the growth of babies. Only possible side effect would be diarrhea. You can treat with yogurt or oatmeal to combat it. It will go away once the meds are stopped.  

Each capsule is enough for one 10 day, twice a day, round of meds.

Syringes are not needles. This is for oral dosing only. If you use Hershey's Strawberry Syrup, like I do, the rats will, once used to the taste, take the meds right from the syringe without too much issues. Most rats treat it like a prized treat so will grab the syringe when you go to feed it if you are not holding them when you do it.

 Baytril can cause stunted growth in babies, can kill babies of nursing rats and can cause miscarriage in pregnant rats, which is why I do not use it if at all possible. Baytril would be used if the rat does not respond to a week of amoxicillin. If you need Baytril and are experinced with self diagnosis and treatment, let me know. I sell it for $3 per ml, usually 4 ml is enough to treat any rat.
